Paul Remembers How He And John Wrote Songs Together
Extract from The Beatles: Eight Days A Week - The Touring Years
In this video, Paul talks about how he and John developed their routine for writing songs - mostly whilst on the road.
“We would be in a hotel room with two twin beds. And (John) would have his acoustic guitar, I’d have mine. We’d sit opposite each other, and because I was left handed and he was right handed, it was like looking in a mirror. And we’d just start something and ricochet off each other. He’d do a line. I’d do a line. And we’d just write it down.”
