07 March, 1970 - The Band Release Let It Be as a Single

The Beatles released Let It Be as a single in the UK on Friday 07 March, 1970 - two months before the album of the same name came out.

In the UK, You Know My Name (Look Up The Number) was the single's b-side, but this varied internationally, as did the single sleeves themselves.

This version of the single, with Get Back as the b-side, came out in Japan in 1981.

In 1969, Let It Be came out in Japan with a different sleeve, and with Don't Let Me Down as the b-side.
