“It's original album to which it's title came from a gun add!! Originally titled, "Happiness Is A Warm Gun In my Hand," it took the Bealtes 97 takes. For a band thats in the beginning stages of breaking up this sure shows commitment to each other and the music. When I met Ken Scott the Engineer on the White Album he told me he loved the way it came together hearing track 1 to 97 and it was a true collaberation even though John brought it into the studio already written!!! That's why I love the song, but it's such a hard question to answer!!!”

“It revolutionized the way music was heard. It was around the time they met Bob Dylan and they realized that they didn't just have to write songs for other people, but they can personalize them. Even though they had already started that by "HELP" this is the breakthrough album where every song is unique, different, and a number 1 in my book. It's a close tie between RUBBER SOUL and REVOLVER which to me(and George Harrison lol) they could be Volume 1 and Volume 2!!!”
