To be honest, I don't have a favorite Beatles song, how I'm supposed to choose one song over about 250 masterpieces? I mostly like "The Fool on the Hill," "In My Life," "Blackbird," "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band/ With a Little Help From My Friends" (my sister's favorite ;) "You've Got To Hide Your Love Away," 'Two of Us" "Here Comes the Sun," "Yesterday," "Hey Jude," "Can't Buy Me Love," "Let it Be," "Till There Was You"... see what I'm saying? i already have 12 songs and i meant to write only 5!! My favorites depend in the mood I'm in. So Beatle fans, don't feel bad if you can't choose a favorite song... because I can't either!! haha ;)

I’ve told many before that my school is an anti-Beatle army, but this year they have been nice about it!! :D and there are a few Beatle stories that happen at my school, enjoy :)

August 10... MY FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!! woke up, put on my Beatles shirt (the one i got in Mexico) and head up to the bus... nothing interesting happened during the day, it was just a boring day at a school. i didn’t feel excited that i was officially an 8th grader... just another day in the life. like i said, nothing very interesting happened BUT i do want to tell you that in my History class. there were numbered index cards. you had to choose a number and there was a question in the back, the teacher first answered the question and then you had to answer it... so there was one dude who picked #9 and the question was, what’s your favorite type of music. and guess what the teacher answered? THE BEATLES!! but she said "okay, the answer is something that Karen is gonna like.” SHE SAW MY BEATLE SHIRT!! “i REALLY like The Beatles” i was in SHOCK!! and there was one question: if you could travel anywhere back in time and witness any event, what time would you go? she said, “Well, this is another one that Karen is gonna like, i would like to back to February 1964 and witness when The Beatles first landed America.” my mouth was WIDE OPEN, she even knew the year!! some one who ONLY ‘likes’ their music don’t know the years or times of these kind of events!! she’s special... maybe she IS a true Beatle fan... now i have a favorite teacher :)

August 20... Ever since last year, i’ve seen This Boy who wore lots of Beatles shirts. i was a little shy to say “i like the Beatles too, you know?” and become friends. but i changed that today!! we were at gym class about to play tennis, and we had to have a partner the opposite gender. and before the teacher stopped explaining the game, i yell, “YOU! BE MY PARTNER!! I KNOW YOU LIKE THE BEATLES!!” and he said “okay” as if i had asked him nicely, haha. but yeah, we were partners :) somehow, the class ran out of tennis rackets, so we did nothing but to have a talk... Beatle talk ;) his birthday is on June 17th, almost Paul’s birthday!! it was fun to make a new Beatle friend :)

Aug. 23... This is a quick one. I was on my way to my classroom and I noticed this man right in front of me. (probably late 40s, and also probably a teacher!!) That man had a MOPTOP!! but you should of seen it, IT LOOKED SOOOOO BAAAAD ON HIM!! Trying to copy the Beatles style, huh? But you also should of seen me!! I was laughing hysterically right behind him!! It was loud laughter, too!! So glad he didn't notice... haha... makes me laugh just thinking about it ;D

Aug. 25... So i was on my Math class, and i was trying to finish the homework thing for History class (with my Beatle-loving teacher ;D) that was due the same day!! It was about this poster and you had to draw or put pictures of 5 things you LOVE!! and, of couse, as the Beatlemaniac i am, i put a BIG picture of them. One picture of each Beatle from the A Hard Day's Night album photo shoot. So i was working on my homework seating beside a friend, and she saw the pictures. she asked "are those the Beatles" i say "Yeah" she asked "are they related?" "no..." "oh, its just that they look a lot alike" "no, not really. if you see Ringo's nose, is a bit bigg-" "wait, i thought they were the same person..." "how can you think that?!? they are TOTALLY different!!" "well they have the same haircut and everything" "well, they were a band!! the had moptops..." "what's a moptop?" "the epic hair style these handsome men are wearing" "but they're also wearing the same outifit (black shirt)" "ITS BECAUSE ITS AN ALBUM COVER!!" this "conversation" lasted over 5 minutes... Now lets skip to History class!! i was done with my poster and everything, all ready to go. the girl who seats next to me for that class (also a friend) loves justin bidork and she know how much i love the Beatles. i show her the poster and she says "OMG, are those Beatles?" (she actually recognized them!!) "yes they are... didn't you put justin bidork?" "no, coz then people will make fun of me" IF YOU REALLY, REALLY LOVE SOMETHING, DON'T BE AFRAID OF SHOWING IT!! SHE'S NOT A REAL, LOYAL FAN UNLIKE US!! BEATLEMANIACS, UNITE!!

Sep. 14... If you haven't read the BEATLESTORY from August 20, i made a new Beatle-friend!! i've mentioned his name to a few of you but his name is Michael. So today, i went to a Emiline's locker to wait for her and waste time (since i was gonna stay after school anyways.) Then, i noticed that Michael and David were going to Michael's locker (close to my Emiline's.) First i was talking to Emiline, then David notices i was wearing my Magical Mystery Tour shirt, and he asks Michael, "do you have a shirt like that one?" and he points at me. (what kind of question is that? sorry... go on...) David tells me, "oh, its just that Michael is a HUGE Beatle-fan." yeah, i know that... Then Emiline steps in and says, "Well, Karen is a HUGE Beatle-fan too!!" Then David says, "you guys should make a contest to see who's a bigger Beatle fan" Im DEFINITELY gonna win this one, i thought... Michael asked, "how many Beatle songs do you have in your iPod?" well, the way i get them, i can't find ALL the songs i want... "152" i answered, knowing i was gonna loose that one. "300... something," he said. Then he asked, "what's John's middle name and why?" wha-what!! that's an easy one, right? of course i know his name is John... John Ono Lennon, no!! there was something before that... in other words, i hesitated!! i thought he was gonna ask a silly question like, how many Beatles were there? or something!! "Winston," he replied after thinking for about 2 minutes. "Okay, you win," I said, ashamed :( then somehow, we were talking about Ringo, Michael is not a big fan of Ringo. "I don't like "Yellow Submarine" because Ringo wrote it..." before he finished i yell ", AH-HA!! RINGO DIDN'T WRITE THE SONG, PAUL DID!! ONE POINT FOR ME!!" "No, i meant to say he SANG it," he said (sure...) He was also exaggerating of Ringo's nose size. "It's not that big!!" i said. Really, Ringo's nose is not 2 inches wide!! David says, "some people say that i have a nose like Ringo's." "No, not really. You have more of a... John nose," i say. (it looks a LOT like John's) "Yeah," Michael agrees. "Yours looks like George's, kinda..." he tells me. "No, not really, his nose is more straight and mine is like- wait a minute, why are we talking about Beatle noses? that's no weird or anything!!" We all laughed, but Emiline was already gone, and we didn't notice!! it was so funny :)

Oct. 8... i was on History class, talking about the United States, the French and Indian War, blah, blah, blah... then my teacher tells us, "And after all this happened, the American Revolution started!!" she said as she changed the slide from the slideshow on the projector. the next slide, a picture with a peace sign in the background with the word 'Revolution' written in groovy letters. 'I've seen that picture before in a Beatles video... wait...' i thought. My teacher clicks a button and the song "Revolution" starts playing!! 'I KNEW IT!!' i yelled. everyone starred at me. as the song played, this boy was singing along, and i was too!! (btw: i was wearing my Beatles shirt) we were the only ones singing, it was a funny scence, everyone just starring at us, mostly me... the teacher stops the music and says, "i played this song not only since i love the Beatles, but its about the Revolution, any one here knows WHO sang it?" "John Lennon!!" i replied easily. "That's right. not only was he a singer, he was a peace activist and wanted wars to end. He was shot on 1980..." "His birthday is tomorrow" i interrupt her. "Oh, i didn't know that." "its also Sean's." "Who's?" "John's son with Yoko." "Oh, cool." then she countinued... i also noticed she had a book that is called "Paul, George, John, and... Ben" its about PAUL Revere, GEORGE Washington, JOHN Adams, and Benjamin Franklin.. clever, huh? ;)

Dec. 1... Two things today. One: my John Lennon Project due. I had to make an essay with a short one-paragraph biography and 2 pages of how he changed United States history and also a picture with your favorite quote of his. I chose the quote "Time you enjoy wasting, was not wasted." Then, I had to present the picture to my class but first, you had to tell who your person was. I said, and I do quote, "The person from my project is John Lennon. And if there's anyone here who doesn't know who he is, he was a member of the band The Beatles, and if you don't know who The Beatles are, you are just stupid!" Everyone started laughing, even my Beatle-loving teacher :) I got a hundred on it!! Two: In my last period class, we have this "class" called Health, which is just busy work!! Almost an hour of busy made me obviously tired!! When we went back to our lockers i was singing, "I'm so tired, I haven't slept a wink..." Michael came out of nowhere and sang along which kinda scared me, but I kept singing. "I'm soo-o-o tired, my mind is on the blink. I wonder should I get up and fix myself a drink, no, no, no..." Then this girl out of nowhere jumps in the middle of us and asks us, "Aww, are you guys going out?" She scared me!! D: We said no, we're just friend who share love with the Beatles, geez!!

Dec. 14... So, we just came back to school from a snow day, and that very weekend was when Paul was the music guest star at SNL (Saturday Night Live) I TOTALLY had to start a conversation about the show in my lunch table since they love the show :) So I start, "Hey, did you guys watch SNL this weekend?" Only one of the 7 girls on the tables actually heard me and answered, "Yes, with Paul McCartney?" I smiled. I remembered Jade actually LIKES the Beatles!! :D "Yeah, it was so awesome, wasn't it?? Come on, the tiny harmonica solo was GENIUS!!" I say. Jade said, "Oh, that was funny!! But I'll admit, I skipped all of his performances." My smile faded away... "HOW DARE YOU!?!" I thought to say but I just kept it all in my mind and I just drop my jaw in disappointment :O Jade gets attention of the other 6 girls in the table and asks, "Guys, don't you think it's weird that Paul McCartney is 68 and he has a 6 year old daughter?" My jaw opens x5 wider. "HOW DARE SHE?!?!?!" I thought again!! The other girls start "eww-ing" and saying how gross it was... One of the girls asked, "Is he married?" I say, "No he's not, at least not anymore." (RIP Linda) "Wait, so why does he have a 6 year old kid?" asked Jade. Sam says, "It's called "a WILD night"." They all start laughing pervertedly while I'm furious!! "It's called a DIVORCE," I say, trying to stay calm. "Oh," said Sam, "wait, how old was her ex-wife?" That b****... "She's like 40, I think..." "WHOA, WHOA, WHOA!!" said Jade. Now she's getting into my nerves... Beatle fan? Pshh, yeah, right!! Still, I go along with it (I'm a good actress, that's why :P) "Yep. One of Paul's daughters is actually a year younger than his ex-wife," I said, not in a funny way or anything... Tons of "Oh my Gods!!" followed... Somehow, Ally changed the conversation, which I'm thankful of!! After lunch when we were walking to our next class, Jade randomly asked, "Would you marry Paul McCartney?" I answer in less than a second "HELL YEAH!!" She starts laughing... I still don't get why that's funny... The moral of the story, children, is that there is no age for love ;)

June 14th- My mom and I went to this grocery shop. My mom told me to go get the pasta, so i did. When i got to the pasta section, there's Paul (current age, not 20's...) getting some groceries too! Im like speechless for 5 seconds, but then I kinda whispered, "A-are you P-P-Paul McCartney?" and answers, "Yes." My mouth was wide open. I asked him "Can I give you a hug?" I was acting like a total creep!! haha! He's like, "Why not?" He opened his arms and hugs me :) I think I even felt the hug in the real world, if you know what i mean ;) The softest and warmest hug someone ever gave me! While he was still hugging me, I asked, "Would you believe me if I told you that I'm 12 years old and I love the Beatles?" He replied, "Well, who doesn't?" We both started laughing. I finally let go, then he walks away. I yell "I LOVE YOU!" he turned around, winked at me, and went on his way ;)

July 9th- This dream has the weirdest setting ever... It was a desert in "Norway" (Paul's own words!!) There were thousands of fans, including me, making a perfect circle in that desert of Norway. (Does Norway even have a desert?!?) Now that i think about it, it wasn't a perfect circle, it was a perfect RING!! No one was on the hole of the ring, well, only one person, PAUL. There was no police, no fences, the front people weren't even trying to touch him, or attack him!! They were just peaceful people, acting as if he wasn't anyone special or famous. (And as we ALL know, he is both special and famous ;) What was Paul doing in that lonely circle? He was talking to us, the fans. He was talking about his life, with Linda, during the Beatles, stuff like that. If he got stuck in the middle of the story, we shouted him what happened next, add to the story or just randomly scream "PAUL, I LOVE YOU." I was on the very first row of the ring, on Paul's left side. In the conversation, someone said something about... SpongeBob... Paul was like, "Who?" Everyone started yelling, "You know, the one who lives on a pineapple under the sea!!" Some one shouts, "Sponge Bob Square Pants!!" and she kept singing... Instead of singing his theme song, i got out my SpongeBob backpack (since when did i have a SpongeBob backpack?!?) And I yell in the top of my lungs, "GEORGE!!!!" The girl next to me said, "It's Paul" I was like, "Oh, yeah. PAUL!! PAUL!!" and he turned to me. "This is him!!" i screamed. Paul said, "Oh, okay. Thanks." I thought, "At least he has manners." Weirdest Beatle dream, EVER!! anyone agrees?

June 24th- In this dream, it was in the early years. (even the dream was on black and white!! not kidding!!) The Beatles were in stage surrounded by thousands of fans. The stage was dark, and it didn't look like any familiar place like the Cavern. In this dream... I was George!! haha... I was in the back listening to John's vocals in "Rock and Roll Music," and I, George Harrison, was playing guitar like crazy and improvising here, and there. (You forgot everywhere!! ;) I was smiling a lot too :D We finally finished the concert and went to a car ride to... i don't know where. Inside the car, Paul said "That was some good improvising, George" But John said "Well, I got lost in what part of the song I was singing, so yeah, good job, George" as if he was mad at me. I didn't reply to anyone, i mean, i WAS the quiet Beatle ;) Ringo was just looking at his rings all the time, haha. That's all I remember :)

2/28/11- YAY!! HAPPY LATE BIRTHDAY GEORGE HARRISON!! (I did NOT forget!! Just in case anyone thinks that...) Hello BeatleBuddies :) I'm going to honest and say the real reason why I haven't been here since... FOREVER!! I always had this promise to myself to answer EVERY SINGLE MESSAGE that you guys write for me, and I kept my promise for a long while... but obviously, not enough... I got lost in my message box not knowing who was the one next to reply!! Beatles.com changed the message box somehow so it messed me up :S I'm sorry!! I'M SERIOUSLY SORRY IF I DIDN'T MESSAGE ANY OF YOU BACK!! And it is NOT because I hate you (I don't hate anyone here, are you kidding me? ;) Anyways, I'm messaging everyone who I've added as a friend... I know there are many who I didn't add as a friend cause I forgot so I might not talk to any of them ever again *cries* but at least I'm trying to Get Back in track, you know me :) Thanks for waiting for my responses during my absence (now I just sound like a teacher xS) anyways...
