If they had stayed a band they probably would have made similar work, only instead of four varied artists it all would have been made collaboratively.

  If I had to guess as to what 'really' happened, I would say that either he was knocked out and went on a 'trip' inside his head, inspiring the mashup, or... this is all a farce by Paul/Ringo (much more likely to me) as viral marketing - as the story says this happened on 9/9/09 (Beatles Day) AND the fact that both men are not expressly named. What if this is all just Paul + co messing with us all?”
