About me

“I consider the Beatles the greatest band EVER! I was turned on to the Beatles by my older sister during the '60's when I was 8 years old (I'm an old guy at 49). They have been my favorite band (along with the Grateful Dead) since. I never tire of listening to them. That is a testament of how great and timeless their music is. I turned my son on when he was younger, he's 23 now and loves the Beatles. From 1979 - 1985 I spent touring with the Grateful Dead (Dead Head,not musician). Seen over 100 shows of theirs plus a lot of bands as well, but I always come back to The Beatles. I have read many books on them. Their story is just so interesting and captivating. After all of these years, I still listen to their music more than any other band (with the "Dead" a close 2nd). I love the fact that they keep having resurgences every few years, 40 years after the breakup. It's so cool that different generations are discovering how great the Beatles are. Their music moves me like no other music. Simply put, The Beatles RULE! George is my favorite Beatle. George ROCKS!!!!

  “Nice to hear from you macharrison. To answer your question about bands my three favorite
  bands are the Beatles, Grateful Dead and Max Creek who you have probably never heard of. They are from New England area here in the states, Check them out on youtube. Just type in max creek videos and you can choose from a number of them. Look for 35 years anniversary.
  They have been together 38 years and they are still smoking. They have one of they greatest guitarist in the world in my opinion. Good stuff. What other bands do you listen to? Look forward to hearing from you.
