Nearly everything my band knows about how to approach recording a song is attached to The Beatles in some way," said Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda. "Directly or indirectly, they've shaped the way every album is recorded, and have changed the world."

Universally hailed for its unparalleled, transcendent quality, The Beatles' recorded catalogue includes many of rock music's most powerful and important songs, including "Revolution," "Helter Skelter," "I'm Down," "It's All Too Much," "I've Got A Feeling," and "The End," while deep cut tracks like "Savoy Truffle," "You Can't Do That," and "Tomorrow Never Knows" continue to surprise, move and inspire the next generation.

The Beatles' groundbreaking songs and albums continue to resonate for fans and musicians like Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl, Arcade Fire's Win Butler, and Band of Horses' Ben Bridwell, serving not only as rock music's bedrock, but also as a leading influence on popular music at large.

Perhaps the Greatest Thing about this, is that if you get two Beatles fans in the same room and say, "Make a list," they will--and the lists will be great--but different. Every List is Great, because the music is.

What a travesty. Greed, greed, greed. In what flippin' world is Savoy Truffel an influential song? I've Got A Feeling? Who the hell comes up with this idiocy? I suspect somebody just picked out songs that haven't been on a compliation before, added a couple that were, and viola', you got something else to release. Slap lipstick on a pig and it's not Yoko Ono. I am mortified and disgusted by this travesty. Great songs, but shameless promotion. Too bad the other Beatles aren't around, because I think they would have vetoed this messterpiece.

It is the Naked version. The echo on Paul's voice and chatter from the session of the original are not present.
I am not a fan of this compilation for many reasons, but there is no reason to misrepresent the product as deceitful when it is not.

There is an error in the tracklisting also: Track 7 "I've got a feeling (naked version)" is instead the version from the original "Let it Be" album. Was this "album" made in a hurry without any quality check?
