“The world was blessed with the talent and presence of John Winston Lennon and we were all saddened by his early departure from this earth but his music and voice will be with us all forever! thanks, Yoko, for offering this gift to the world! Looking forward to the release of these new goodies! Beatle Barb”
“YES! YES! YES!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU FOREVER JOHN!!!!!! I AM GETTING ALL OF THESE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JOHN IS SO FRICKEN AWESOME!!!! HE IS THE MOST GENIUS MAN EVER TO LIVE ON THE PLANET!!!! GO JOHN!!!”
“still-waiting for Apple/Capitol/E.M.I. Re-Releases (on-Compact Disc and/or on-Vinyl) of JOHN & YOKO'S "WEDDING ALBUM" + "UN-FINISHED MUSIC #1: TWO VIRGINS" + "UN-FINISHED MUSIC #2: LIFE WITH THE LIONS"”
“I understand that these sets etc will be sent free to all those who so generously purchased all John Lennon products throughout his lifetime and beyond.”
“I agree with Domsdad. Remasters of six year old remasters and another 'hit' compilation does sound disappointing, but if a new generation of fans buy them that can only be good. As anybody who's heard the Lost Lennon Tapes will know, there is plenty of unreleased material sitting in the archives. A well compiled CD of alternative takes and demos would be a more interesting way to celebrate John's 70th birthday.”
“Around the time of "Sometime In New York City", John Lennon and Yoko Ono Produced, Released and appeared on a very important release in John Lennon's life. The name of the album is "The Pope Smokes Dope" by David Peel & The Lower East Side on Apple Records. It would be great to see a proper release of this on CD with bonus tracks. You may ask...What bonus tracks? There's a duet by David Peel and Yoko Ono entitled "Amerika" which was not part of the album. There's also the "Live" tracks that John & Yoko appeared on like the tracks they did on The David Frost show, and the tracks that they did with David at The "Ten For Two" show "John Sinclair", and "Attica State". This was a very important release in John Lennon's career. Would also like to see a release of God Save Us b/w Do The Oz by Bill Elliot & The Elastic Oz Band(Apple Single) that john Released. As a collector, these are some John Lennon releases that I'd purchase, and I'm sure a lot of Lennon fans would purchase too.”
“Hopefully, they will reissue all of his work on vinyl. I am also hopeful that they will release The Beatles' box sets on vinyl. Four of the albums listed to be on this box set are already available on LP through Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs, and they sound great. A reissue of "Imagine is available in "From the vaults of Capitol Records" series and is issued on the Apple label. One would be hard pressed to hear any difference btween the Apple version and the MoFi version. Of course, I have multiple copies of both. Please Mrs Lennon, release this set on vinyl!!!.”
